Aluminium Trims

Type E trims are used to create vertical or horizontal straight edges at the end of a run of plasterboard, or where a raised or recessed feature is required. The trims can be used in both wall and ceiling applications. Can be factory into column rings.

Type R trims are used to create horizontal or vertical reveal details where areas of dry lining abut suspended ceiling, door frames, floor skirting, window frames and many other architectural features. Subject to some bending limitations, type R trims can be factory curved both on plan and in section.

Type RD trims are used to create horizontal or vertical reveal details where there are areas of dry lining, suspended ceilings, door frames, floor skirting, window frames and many other architectural features. The products are designed for use only with 15mm boards. Subject to some bending limitations, type RD trims can be factory curved both on plan and in section.

Type Y trims are used to create junction details between metal suspended ceiling systems and adjacent areas of plasterboard. The horizontal web of the shadow gap designs can be factory slotted to form an air vent if required. Curved trims manufactured from composite sections to reproduce type Y trims are available.

Type YA trims are used to create junction details between mineral fibre, GRG or full module metal suspended ceiling systems and adjacent areas of plasterboard. The horizontal web of the shadow gap designs can be factory slotted to form an air vent if required. Curved trims are manufactured from composite sections to reproduce type YA trims are available.
